The Simpson Strong-Tie PINWP is a powder-actuated washered pin designed to fasten rigid insulation board to building structures. The PINWP consists of a 0.300″-headed fastener with a pre-mounted 1 3/8″ flat plastic washer. The PINWP is for high-volume applications and is designed for fastening into concrete and steel. For this product to work effectively the washered pins shank length must be greater than or equal to the combined thickness of the attached material and minimum embedment depth. These washered pins work best with Simpson Strong-Tie powder-actuated tools but are also compatible with many other competing tool brands.
