The cork based plates are impregnated with an anti-swell aluminium alloy to give smooth clutch take-off and allow modulation. High-performance friction papers, with Kevlar Carbon Fibre, are also available.

The heavy-duty springs are 10-15% stiffer to maintain greater clamping strength for the life of the clutch
