The Cerra CGT1-B Vertical Control Gap Tie is designed to create a vertical control gap that allows up to 40 mm of movement in clay brick and block walls. It supports in-plane movement while restraining masonry against lateral wind loads, helping to manage differential movement and reduce internal stresses.

Suitable for use in residential and commercial masonry construction, this tie incorporates a de-bonding slide that accommodates expansion and contraction where control joints are required. It provides a reliable solution for maintaining structural performance in areas with expected thermal or moisture-related movement.
