1/2 USS Flat Washer Med Carbon Through Hardened Zinc CR+3 Domestic USA – Bulk (1000), domestically manufactured in the USA, are constructed from medium carbon steel that is through hardened to meet the high mechanical requirements of Grade 8 and structural fastening applications, supporting joints with a minimum tensile strength of 180,000 PSI. Dimensions conform to ASME B18.21.1, Type A, Wide Series standards, which feature an oversized outside diameter for superior load distribution over large or slotted holes. They are finished with Yellow Zinc Plating (Chromate CR+3), a non-toxic and environmentally preferred trivalent chromium coating that provides good corrosion resistance and is RoHS compliant.
