The SP stud plate tie is a plate-to-stud connection providing uplift resistance. Ideal for connecting studs plates at a ninety degree angle to provide additional support. Stud plate ties are suitable for windy environments as the reinforced stud plates are protected from being pulled apart by high winds from hurricanes, tornados, etc. This unit is installed to secure either wall to top track or wall to bottom track studs and provides support from uplift resistance caused by wind.
